Looking for something better, happier, and more peaceful?
Joey Lott’s No One Home is a short and simple guide to the ever-present simplicity of being. Lott demonstrates in simple terms that there is no separate self, there is only the simplicity of being, and from there goes on to demonstrate the reasons for which this is such a beneficial discovery. Lott explains how radically liberating the removal of all delusion can be; when we learn and accept that there is no separate individual we are free to discover the freedom, peace, and joy that are inherent in the simplicity of being.
How do I discover this peace?
Through Lott’s own experiences he demonstrates simple, achievable ways in which readers can effectively examine their own beliefs, ideas, and expectations – leading them towards the ultimate goal of clear recognition. This is the awakening to the simplicity of being which Lott advocates. There are no gimmicks, no expectations of any angels or trumpets, just a simple acceptance of a simple truth that can in itself reveal total freedom, and all the benefits therein.
Find true freedom today!
Lott leads us down this path to freedom through exploration in the simple spirit of self-inquiry, seeing that assumptions about what we call ourselves are pure illusion. He looks to the qualities of thought itself, and questions what the thoughts ‘I’ and ‘Me’ truly represent. Alongside this, he explains how to examine the qualities of awareness, and most importantly, to recognize that direct experience is always changing.
No One Home will challenge your preconceptions. Download the book today, and embark upon your own personal journey to freedom!

Reading this book lying on my back, luxurious, I just let it do me, and it certainly did! I have spent a lifetime reading books on enlightenment, zen, nonduality, and this one, together with Lott's other book Trying Too Hard stands out as the one that simply provides enlightenment. Lott says that is the whole reason for the book, to bring the reader to the point of full realization of clarity of Being. This he actually does. With no mystification or specialness whatever, he simply points relentlessly, effectively to the way things are. He SHOWS us, patiently, simply, kindly that "There is no separate individual apart from this present happening." About one third of the way through this short book, the author begins to 'walk us through self inquiry' in the most effective way I have ever seen. He says "...rather than just blindly asking yourself "Who am I?" like some sort of mantra, begin to explore what is this that you call yourself?" He then proceeds to unpack the package of experience with great skill and simple guidance. 'Look at this? See? Now this way.See that?' Proceeding with tender attentiveness to the reader's need to see everything for himself.
He reminds us repeatedly "Do not settle for any answers...no answer could ever capture the aliveness of this" while pointing to the reader's own experience. Lott reminds me of an optometrist fitting you for glasses, if you have ever had that experience. It is as if he goes, 'now look here. is that better than this? Good, now this one? Or this one? Good. Now tell me if you can see this. If not, now look at this. Now this way. OK.' And I can tell you, if you relax and enjoy the process with honest curiosity, you will know directly what the buddhas and bodhisattvas have been pointing to all these centuries. Just like getting new glasses!
I recommend this book to anyone who has suffered separateness enough and is ready to be done with it.
If not, try this. See that? Good.'

No One Home A Guidebook to Discovering the Simplicity of Being edition by Joey Lott Politics Social Sciences eBooks Reviews
There will be those who will say it is too short and not sweet enough.....try memorizing it....nah Joey wouldn't buy that idea. Well lets just say don't forget its message and it will allow your life to reappear even as it is.....but free of your interpretation of it.
Something opens up for me as I read Joey Lott's words. The experience is somehow like sitting by a forest stream. He has a way of directly pointing to the immediacy of "this" in its fresh wholeness before thought carves and compares. I discover a gentle and spacious happiness and peace "underneath" the noise of mind. I'm new to Joey, but I'm feeling a real wave of gratitude for discovering his clear pointing out instructions.
By "pointers" I mean words that point to what is true. Or, more accurately, to what simply is. I have read 4 of Joey Lott's books. All of them are short yet WAY underpriced relative to their value. Lott's writing is at once disarming, amusing, and penetrating. Strongly recommended!!
Joey keeps giving tips and pointers of non duality down to earth wisdom
"There is seeing happening, and normally we assume that it is my seeing . But what proof is there that this is your seeing? Without concept can you know that any other seeing is happening"?
I found that Joey Lott methodically takes the concept of a self apart piece by piece. He is able to guide the listener to truly question concepts about what creates a self using simple exercises and inquiring questions. His method is succinct and uncomplicated. He simply addresses each of our senses, our beliefs how a self is found in each of these senses and pokes holes in those beliefs. Joey is not a traditional spiritual teacher as his delivery method is not “fluffy” or mystical. He uses his own personal experiences in a humorous fashion to illustrate how our beliefs can lead us down paths that are unnecessary to reach enlightenment and release the idea of a separate self. I also have an audible version of this book and have already listened to this audiobook several times and know I will listen to it several more times. This book is a must for anyone who is interested in enlightenment and nonduality.
You can experience this book in an hour, waking up every few seconds by noticing what the author is questioning, pointing toward. Without dogma, it is painless mental surgery conducted with compassionate skill. A valuable book at a bargain price, as are several other delightful books by Mr. Lott which I've read. My disclaimer waking up may be effortless; staying awake in the bombardment of culture/conditioned reactions is not so easy, may take lots of persistent effort, even when it is glimpsed that there is no 'you' to make (or not make) any effort. )
Yet another truth telling little book by Joey Lott that lays it all out and hammers it home. The writing style and honesty is so refreshing. As I read, I feel like my spirit is a sponge soaking in - what? A state of awareness maybe? Somehow I relax a little more reading Joey Lott. I do feel though, true or not, that when someone like Joey has suffered the way he has and truly reached the depths, something happens, something opens up, there is a surrender to what IS. What is, is enough. Just be aware. Get that little self out of the way and just be. It really is going to be OK. At least that's a little what I got out of it. Frankly, I've read so many Joel Lott books now that they all kind of blend together, but what the heck. I love the guy and the wonderful gift he offers. Now I know I don't have to be a seeker any more. I am what I seek and the continuing challenge is to just try to continually realize that one HUGE idea.
